August is the driest month, with rain on 14% of days and daytime highs near 34.7°C (94°F). May is the wettest, at 44%. Temperature swings hard across the year — 29.5°C between July (34.8°C / 95°F) and January (5.3°C / 42°F) — so packing for the wrong month is the main risk. The record rules out too hot in Jul–Aug.
